About the 1/10 oz Gold Britannia

It is the lowest-cost way to own a 24-karat gold coin from The Royal Mint, and a popular first gold purchase or gift. As with all small coins, the premium per ounce is higher than for larger coins.

Smaller gold coins let you buy gold in amounts that suit your budget, and sell part of a holding when you need to rather than all at once. The trade-off is a higher premium per ounce than one-ounce coins and bars, so many buyers combine small coins for flexibility with larger pieces for value.

Buying and paying

The 1/10 oz Gold Britannia is priced live from the gold spot price plus a stated premium of 10%, in US dollars. At checkout your price is locked for 10 minutes while you confirm your order. You then pay by domestic wire transfer or ACH, quoting your order number. We currently charge no sales tax; any use tax your state may require is your responsibility.
